Building a working submarine is one thing...but adding torpedo launching. Amazing !

What powers the torpedo? It has a good turn of speed.

Well, shiver my timbers, mates! While I was jesting about the other sub needing a torpedo launcher to be Utopian, along comes another model with just that capability . That's also one impressive launch mechanism, and speedy motor in the torpedo itself (a small servo, presumably). I'm guessing that the torpedo tube has some sort of waterproof solenoid, with a retractable pin that holds the torpedo in place.

£170 for the kit. Looks like compressed gas of some sort. No explosive though!
