Problem after upgrading to 2,4 GHz

Hello everyone,
This is my first entry, so forgive me if I posted this under the wrong category.
So I got myself a Heng Long Tiger I, the very basic version, some time ago, and some time later decided to order a Taigen T-34/85, full metal, 2,4 g, and was very impressed. After some driving, the motherboard from the T-34 just died and was deemed beyond repair. I bought a HL 2,4 v.4 transmitter/receiver set, installed it first on the Tiger and then the T-34, and everything is working perfectly, except for the ASG on both tanks, which just doesn't respond to the transmitter at all. I have checked connections and switches, everything seems to be fine, so I am afraid it might be a faulty motherboard. Anyone ever encountered such problem?
