Would like to add a personalized name or the tank number on the gun tube of my panzer3 and Tiger1
But haven’t a clue as to the best size/ scale lettering to use.
Obviously smaller scale letters / numbers on the gun tube but even on the hull they wouldn’t be very large.
Seen any number tanks with this embellishment, appreciate anyone’s who has done this opinion.
Thx Larry.

Good morning,
In American armor of the period, they range from the neatly lettered 'In The Mood' to the flamboyant 'Thunderbolt' 'First in Bastogne' type. On the German side, I can think of 'Tiki' the Tiger tank and have used some naming lettering on a captured KV-2 ( The 'Palace' ) Do what you like in this respect and I think that you will not be far off the mark historically, still.
regards,
Painless

Found dry transfer lettering by Woodland Scenics that should work nicely.

That's what you need. Those Woodland scenic's dry transfers are just great. I used them to put the name Angelus Mortis on the barrel of my Abrams.
