Triple screw running 3x 700 motors on 3 6cell nimh batteries.
On full rudder I have set it up to cut the inside screw to enable better turning.
More details to follow

haha, no it was my father lol

At the end of the 1st video the camera drops as my father accidentally threw the boat into full reverse and because we weren't running a battery for the receiver the main battery voltage dropped below 6v and the boat went out of control in full reverse and full left rudder and ran circles around the harbour for ages. Luckily no boats were hurt and i just managed to grab it on a close pass with the pathway before going full throttle into the rigged up boat! Lesson learnt, so it will now run higher capacity main battery and also a seperate receiver battery

That's it, blame someone else ;) lol

That's very interesting about the batteries, not something I would have realised.

Great videos! I was out today giving the pt boat a run.

I used to have the same thing with my older rc cars. Hit the throttle and it'll go hell bent for leather in whatever direction it's pointed! Most of the stuff I'm using now has radio priority circuits, so it's been a while since I managed to drive a boat up the bank and to the work table!!
