Anyone else got upside down or sideways pictures?

Hello folks, I've just had a play about with Mr Ragnars sideways pictures, and found I can correct them.
Which I have now done.
Therefore, if anyone knows of any problem pictures like that anywhere on the forum, please post the thread links here, and I'll gladly sort out the pictures.
I know there are some out there, just can't remember where.

SOG, strange that some of my pictures have posted catiwhompus! And I found that on tapping and enlarging them sets them to rights,
I can adjust the pictures on my iPad in edit if need be have actually done that to members photos for them.

Some of mine are showing up that way in my PT boat thread...

The thumb nails are up side down, but when you click on them the larger picture is right side up. Thought maybe I had fudged something up.

Yes think it may be something to do with the site mine were doing the exact same thing,now the last couple of pictures I posts were right side up, strange!

Mr Midnight, I'll get on to that a bit later.
Mr Ragnar, yes, the pictures mostly show correctly when opened. I tried downloading them, copying them, cloning them, re naming them, and every time I tried re posting them I got the same. Last night I tried an experiment, put the pictures in my phones picture editor, and found that if I altered just one side, i.e. cropped the tiniest amount off and saved it, then re posted that picture, it all worked.
It's like I've un corrupted the picture.

No rush, Mick. I deleted them and reloaded them a couple of times but the thumb nails were still up side down. Just figured that I was fat fingering something.

Definitely something fishy going on, for some reason, the forum doesn't like attaching some pictures correctly.

Its not fat fingers but several two fingers of tipple!! Still, wonky is good these days

Some (if not all?) phone camera's have a 'this way up' tag on their pictures included in the meta data - if you are uploading pics direct from your phone, this might be the reason? I've never had an issue with my phone pictures because I'm too lazy to learn how to take lower res photos on my crappy phone, and just shovel them thru MS Paint to resize them - thereby erasing the meta data
