Writing tank maneuvers

Hi all.
Is there any coding or instructions for describing a set of tank maneuvers? I am not a tanker and couldn't find anything on the web.
I have some thoughts of my own but don't want to reinvent the wheel.
Also does anyone have a set of maneuvers that we could all use.
I think the we could promote the hobby by running through a planed set of maneuvers - possible with commentary. This only needs a display area not a battle landscape.

I quite agree with your sentiments. Apparently the usual battle or exhibition maneuver is the 'free for all' one. This probably explains the lack of replies since your post.

I saw a video that was taken at an rc tank show and they had a big table set up with obstacles and a long bridge. The tanks had to maneuver around some tight turns and navigate along the narrow bridge. Sand was also spread around in some spots. The video showed several different tanks completing the “course”. Seemed to be a technical driving demonstration of some sort. I want to make something similar in one of our flower beds.

Good morning,
Careful there, Jimster! The Goode Wife will probably do a 'technical' on your head with a frying pan if you mess up the flower beds... ;o)

True. But I think an LGB garden railway with a tank bridge or two would be awesome. I’ll have to lobby the Dept. of Land Management.

Plus an airport with RC planes, a harbour and jetty with RC boats. Indeed a model village! I wonder if a suitably equipped council would allow us to battle in theirs?

I went to an RC show recently and the truck and digger guys had a full layout. I thought "this is ripe for a tank squad to invade".
Unfortunately the tank presence was none existent. I also only found one stall selling tanks and that was at the back of their tent.
I think the tank market is under developed.
When you consider the RC aircraft market is the biggest. And yet they don't have great detail in their models, they are expensive, have limited opportunities to use them and can't do much with them.
So i think a good moving display is important.
Im working on a maneuver instruction set at present. I have drafted a coding and am using these maneuvers to see how to present the information and look for issues. The maneuvers are far simpler than the instructions suggest. I tried to do a map but this gets confusing. Its simpler to just follow a set of instructions.
Im mocking this up in excel and will share with you soon. The maneuvers are part 1 of about 5. This first could be called "To the front" as its just about getting there and prepping the tank. Im thinking the other parts will be:-
Artillery fire.
Attack.
Hunting.
Defense.
Repair or aftermath. But i can't think how to represent this at present.
