I like builds of models I have not seen before. You are showing much creativity and talent. It looks fantastic. Hope to see more.

I love your bronetransporter, Locb. I'm a great admirer of Cold War-era Soviet armour, and the BTR-70 is one of my favourites. You've done an excellent job with this build (and the BRDM-2s, too!), well done!

You have no idea how confusing the size of the "BTR" range of vehicles was to British Military Intelligence when the first pair were discovered under tarpaulins on railway flatcars in an East German Railway Marshalling yard (Don't ask).
The two vehicles were photographed and pencil drawn by torchlight by two British soldiers,
When the pictures and drawings were analysed it was thought that one of the men had made a mistake because one set of pictures showed an eight wheeler the other a six wheeler. It was very much a hand on heart debrief before the Green Slime realised that the sneaky Russkies really did have what turned out to be a 4 a 6 and an 8 wheeler base of "BTRs" The BTR concept came as a surprise to Intelligence because the Nato forces had nothing like it even in the planning stage.
