Decided to have a go at some weathering so I got busy with some Vallejo European Thick Mud. Pretty happy with the results but I may try and add some splash marks as well sometime soon.

Hopefully next up will be a look inside the turret with the goodies installed and running!ImageImageImageImage

TBH I can't say as I'm not sure yet! My replacement board is now in and all seems to work ok (twitchy recoil/elevation servos) but the steering motor in the PDSGBZ has gone pop so I'm waiting for a replacement! When it's (finally) all up and running I will have a look at getting the kaput board fixed and try and recoup a few bob by selling it on :D

Well, you couldn't make it up! New motor installed in my PDSGB and working fine but.............no turret rotation (possible burnt out resistor on the board :( ). However, I decided that I was going to get out and have a play regardless so here's a little peek inside the turret (wiring still needs a little tidying) - the more observant amongst you might have spotted the different (all metal) elvation and recoil system from DKLM that replaces the 3d Clark one previously installed!ImageImageImageImage

Awesome tank, electronics and photography. What’s next?

Great build thread, as a novice just getting my teeth into this the most daunting part seems to be the recoil and elevation system.

How difficult was the DKLM all metal elevation and recoil system to fit? I think I'd much prefer it over plastic.
