Hi All.
Im looking for some advice please, I have modded my Torro T34 with a clark TK22 sound controller, got it all working as it should do but I still get recoil then sound and flash from main gun.?? (Should be the other way round)
Im thinking the little switch inside the recoil motor unit is possibly around the wrong way? Has anyone else had this issue?
Tom

The barrel will travel backwards when the charge in the shell is fired - the shell is pushed forward by the expanding gases and the barrel is pushed back. As the shell leaves the barrel the flash will follow, as will the sound and, since the expanding gases are set free to the atmosphere, the barrel will return forward to its normal.position.
That's the sequence but its all so quick its almost simultaneous. The speed of the model recoil servo may not be able to quite keep up and the syncing of the sound in Torro/Taigen tanks is not always perfect.

Hi, Thanks for that, it just seems that the recoil does its thing and then the sound and flash happens would have that it would have boomed and flashed as the barrel goes back and then clicks?
Not sure how to get over it?

Yes, understood. It sounds like a synchronisation issue. Has it got worse since the TK22 board was fitted. I know that my Torro / Taigen IS-2, King Tiger and Panther F all have issues with the sounds of actions continuing slightly after the actions stop (irritating!) but they all use v3 systems. Earlier versions l have are okay.

I have issues with all my Clark and Torro tanks with the recoil and flash. All of them will trigger the recoil first and the flash and sound follow afterwards. I've tried rewiring, programming but have yet to find a solution. If anyone has any suggestions I'd also be eager to try them.

May be worth dropping a line to the man at Clark as there may be a solution. They are both popular products so it would be in their interest to help.
