Giving serious thought to the new metal version of the P4 and realizing we now have basically wood floors and wondering would the metal tracks on this 10+lb tank will damage the flooring if I run it indoors.?
Or will this baby be a strictly outdoor tank, wifey wouldn’t be to pleased with me if I tear up the new floors lol

Normal running may be OK, it's super-spin that's most likely to trash the finish. We run on carpet/astro-turf at the Grantham club and (mostly) avoid running on the floor.

You have to assume that the metal tracks will scuff the finish on polished wood or laminate floors. It's also very noisey! However, you can do spectacular drifts on laminate ;)

Good morning,
I think you are safe with a 10+ pound tank. Mind the ice cleats on the later tracks ( if so equipped ) I ran my 25 pound KV-2 ( The Palace' ) on our wooden floors and noticed no issues as long as I didn't bring it in from the rough and start running it inside before shaking out the tracks and using some canned air on them. Enjoy that Tank!
