Andy's vids are excellent, I have watched just about every single one, but also watch alot of AvE tool reviews.StumpyBloke wrote:I honestly have no idea if that’s a positive or negative towards Andy’s videos LOL.

That is a great tip and much appreciated, I luckily felt the stripping before it went too far but will order some up for future use!Eastern Front wrote:Great Video...pitstain wrote:Part 1 is live on YouTube

On another note for you.. I have alot (I mean Alot) of Tamiya FO tanks, if you put in a screw and it strips, stop and remove it, place a drop of Tenax 7R in the plastic and re-thread the screw until its in--stop do not tighten anymore. The plastic will now (basically) melt around your screw enough to reset the hole. Once its set up in about 4 hours you will be able to unscrew it as if it was never stripped. This will not cause the whole piece to warp in any way.
This also my first go to for attaching any parts on the hull. Once you Tenax a part on the hull, its as hard to get off as a Henglong molded into the hull part! I also use this to put on Photo etched parts.
Cheers!

Question.
Is the plastic ABS. Can regular plastic cement be used or super glue. I had hell on my leopard keeping parts glued together.

For ABS you should not use regular styrene glue and never ever super glue. You should use ABS glue, or some solvent based glue, even straight acetone from the bottle works, but never super glue.fury69 wrote:Question.
