1/6 WWII 82nd AB ¼ ton truck
1/6 WWII 82nd AB ¼ ton truck
Here is my WWII ¼ ton truck project. It is a DML kit, with the following customizations:
Made the glove box operable
Tool boxes operable
Folding front driver seat
Folding rear seat
Fabric set cushions
Wood bumper fill
Tow rope
Wooden handles on tools
Cotton door straps and custom hardware
Cotton straps with Armorpax hardware to replace the DML straps
ECA tow hitch
ECA pintle mount with scratch built tripod
Armorpax 50 Cal mount
DML 50 Cal
Undercarriage detailing (see my build tread)
Brake lines
Complete scratch built engine, transmission, and gear box
.308 data plates for all equipment and dash gauges
Lots of other little details
Custom stencil painting
I added some mini manuals I got from eBay. I made the wood crate. And put 2 82nd’s in it.
I am pretty proud of how it came out. Let me know what you think, and I will answer any questions.

Some simply exquisite detailing in there. The harder, and deeper one looks, the more astounding the visual effects become.

Clearly, you're truly adept at turning styrene into familiar objects; like engines, for instance In fact, I'd go so far as to say you're something of a styrene Maestro.orntar wrote:Thanks everyone!
