Stumbled across this near miss, but was curious which Russian tank it was.
Any ideas?

That's what I thought. But the turret looks more T62 or T55 shape to me

T55/62 turrets more spherical than that.

Also I've just realised that the 54/55 and 62 only had 5 road wheels per side, the one in the video has 6.
Thanks Tom

That tank-blurry though the image is-has a central bore evacuator in the barrel. The T-55 didn't have one of those. It also had a smaller curved turret. The Syrians, and the opposition Free Syrian Army, had plenty of T-72's to choose from. Thus, it's likely to be a T-72, as Tom said. The turret shape is also more in keeping with the T-72, than the T-62.
After 2016, Russian supplied some reactivated T-62-Ms to the Syrian Army, but this video is quite old apparently.

There were plenty of T55s with that central bore evacuator, but the evacuator were fake, the purpose was just to change the silhouette of the tank. I think those T55s were from Pakistan, they even had fake fuel drums in the turret, that crew used as stowage.
This is explained in the Osprey T55 book and there are even photos of at least one of them.
There you go, a live example:

Interesting, Rad. But the question would be, why would the Syrian Army be using a virtually obsolete T-55, with a fake Pakistani made evacuator, when it had access to plenty of T-72s? Who would it be trying to fool?

The t62 however did have a fume evacuator!
The tiran 4/5 had fume evacuators due to the use of the British 105mm.
Not so relevant here

Well, it sure looks like a T72 the more I look at it.
