I need six standoffs for a Tamiya tiger I gearbox please chaps
Have been supplied king tiger gearboxes but the standoffs are too tall for the tiger.
I believe I need 10mm ones.

Tamiya have m4 male parts and M3 female parts... can’t find anywhere lol
I ordered some M3 hex standoffs and only realised the male part was m4 when o removed them

Go on either of those links and you should find M3 and M4 stand offs in male and female at various lengths.
Here you go, 1019 different types lol.

I think you misread the above post - Tamiya are M4 threaded male parts, M3 female thread parts.
Nobody I have spoken to does different size threaded parts. They’re either all M3 or all M4.

So, you're saying each one has an M3 female thread one end, and an M4 male thread the other end.
Well, that's easy to sort, purchase M3 female/female, tap M4 one end only half way, then fit M4 screws and cut the head off and to length. If you put a nut on the screw before inserting, it'll clean the thread up on removal after cutting the screw.

This is a pic of a brand new Tiger 1 gearbox, Adam. The three bronze coloured standoffs come pre-fitted to the base, and are the real McCoy. They're 8mm, but the copper washer adds another 1mm. The (4th) silver standoff is one I've just screwed in for comparison purposes. It's 10mm high. I have 5 others like it.
Roy.

Thanks Roy, are they available to buy from you or do you need them?
Nick, appreciate the help but I’m going to put the right ones in

That's it, next time someone needs Tamiya spares I'm just going to ignore it
Always makes me laugh that people usually have them (Tamiya spares), don't they use the parts on their models
But you're welcome, I didn't think they'd turn out that easy to acquire.
