They should have turned the muzzle brake from aluminum. The brass is heavy. As for balance, this is even an issue on my Sherman Firefly that has the impact barrel that I turned down on a lathe to allow it to fit into a sleeve for recoil. The Tamiya elevation motor is weak in my opinion as well.
