Query for a fellow modeller.............

'Morning All,
This is a question for a fellow modeller who's building/kit-bashing Tamiya's 16th scale Sherman into a Canadian M4A3 Sherman in Korea - with all the suitable mods, etc. Would anyone know of a source for markings/decals for this conflict? I believe there was a conversion kit being produced a few years ago, with the correct turret, that came with decals for a Canadian Sherman in Korea, but I can't remember who produced it.
Cheers,
Chris - in Victoria, BC

Many Thanks for your reply - I checked P8 (and all the other pages) but didn't see any decals for a Canadian Korean War Sherman.
Thanks again.
Chris

Thanks Jofaur86,
I had a look at those but they're for US Army Shermans and not Canadian Army Shermans.
Many Thanks again,
Chris

Agreed. I have an excellent set for my Firefly, and I've found a set in 35th scale for a Canadian Army Sherman in Korea, but nothing (yet) in 16th scale. A number of years ago, there was a company called "Backyard Armour" who did a Korean War conversion kit (with Canadian Army decals) for Tamiya's 16th scale Sherman, but that company has been out of business for some time ago .
Cheers,
Chris

I believe it was Elite Armor decal sheets that backyard armour sold, people started going direct rather than waiting up to six months in a few cases for their orders.
