1:16 Figure Size Discrepancies

I ordered a pair of tank figures on eBay for only $19.00. They were listed as 1/16 scale but were also labeled as unbranded. Here is one of them next to my Heng Long figure. Is the HL too small or is my resin figure too large (maybe 120mm Verlinden)? I’m afraid my new crewmen are scaled too large but I wanted to run this by the group. The scale was probably misrepresented in the advertisement perhaps.

I think the HL drivers are a bit on the small side, but you have to remember that people come in all sizes so variety can be a good thing. It just so happens I'm going to try printing a figure today on the new SLA printer and if that's successful I'll be able to print any figure that you can provide an stl file for in just about any size you want. And yes, I'm still looking for a good truck driver!!

And not many people were 6ft tall in Europe back in those days - which is why Churchill was such a fan of the big strapping Canadian farm boys (oh er misses!) that voluntered for the army.

1/16 scale,
1/16th of an inch is an inch.
3/4 inch is a foot.
4 and a 1/2 inches is 6 foot.

I'd estimate that from the crouch to the top of the cap should measure approximately two and a half inches to two and three quarter inches maximum.

I agree. At least I only wasted $19.00.
