Not every day something like this turns up at work to pick up parts!
Image

They were picking up pallets and thought the truck just needed a run out, so they used this instead of the other truck haha! The trailer was damn cool aswell

Apparently this is a M831 10 ton truck on road and 5 ton off road, but is a modernised version of an M35
It must be a sign as i am building loads of trucks at moment
Not sure what a M831 is unless maybe i miss-understood a designation code they used for it back in the day??
If you know what it is, let me know :)

Wow, no wonder motorway repairs take so long. I never realised tarmac had such a high mass. . . .

I had to laugh Will, of all the people on here that this could happen to lol. So, another one for your collection ;)

Yeah tell me about it, i literally had a work colleague shout over (in an excited way) the office at me, which was very odd. As soon as i saw it at the window i pulled my lunch break and went to talk to the guy haha. We never have anything this cool normally turning up, so was nice break from the norm

Luckily for you it was before your regular lunch time lol.

I used to have to pass through Hounslow many years ago, and one road had three or four houses that had trucks and even a half track in the front gardens, made sitting in traffic more interesting.

Eastern Front wrote:I have a M939, I "Bobbed" it (removed the back axle) and converted the rear suspension to leaf springs like the front. Its a fun truck, especially when you go through a drive through like McDonalds :haha: :haha: :haha:

Cheers!
That's proper wicked! Cool. if i had a silly vehicle i would find the most ridiculous places to drive it to take the mick haha.
Turn up to a posh restaurant in your big dirty Truck be great fun haha
