Has anyone seen this new TX? I am thinking about getting one for a heli and was wondering what your thoughts are on tank compatibility.

Multiprotocol module,
Opentx software,
Nice screen,
16ch...

Id buy it immediatelly.

And dont worry, any radio is compatible with any kind of rc device. Plane, heli, car, robot, nuke, whatever.

Except standard Heng Long and older Taigen electronics ;)

Of course I was talking about 2.4ghz standard hobby grade protocol, not chinesse propietary protocols. Sure it wont work with 27mhz crystal devices neither. (Unless you fit a chrystals module)

BUT that multiprotocol module, as far as I know works also with standard and old taigens (the ones without that extra sound card and hobby receiver plugged)

I took another and deeper look at this new radio, and definitely it looks like one of the best out there.

Hello Lifeofbrian

Any TX will do to drive a tank. As I am using an opensource/opentx transmitter as well, I can inform you that its is a good choice. However this tx offers so many features that are specific for flying a heli or plane that you will not use for driving a tank.

That's fine, I want to get a chopper too and was hoping to use just one TX for all my non car RC's. Thanks.

It looks great , the screen gives you a lot of info but I would end up looking at the screen and crashing my models.
