Hi All, long time no post but been busy on other projects, just been noseying on Ebay at the Heng Long Leopard Version 6.0 but it has a infa red thing on it any idea what that's for????

I have exact version of leo with tk6.0 board. It has bb gun as well as infrared system (if you shoot at another tank with the system it records hit and after 6 hits tank turns off simulating it has been damaged by the hits). There are levels of the damage tank can take and after each hit tanks movement are slower and slower (this is what manual says but I havent tested it personally).

Personal experience - infrared has very broad angle (around 90 degree) and as long as opponent is withing that angle you will score a hit (honestly its far away from precise shooting however it is possible to make it better by putting infra emitter inside long tube to narrow the emitting angle)
