Brixham Battery

If you're in South Devon or passing through on a Sunday, Monday or Friday between 2-4pm, the Brixham Battery is a fine place to spend an hour or so.
They have a good collection of WWII memorabilia including original guns you can handle.

It's run by a dwindling group of Veterans and interested amateurs that also run weekend events, unfortunately we are leaving before the Easter spectacular.
There's also a selection of model kits, wartime bits and books for sale. They don't charge an entrance fee, but appreciate donations.
