Originally I was going to go with Heng Long but have migrated to Torro! In either case the pro editions with IR.

Looking for challenger, Abraham’s or Russian is-2.

Personally wouldn't deal with them as I've heard way too many horror stories. You'd be better off dealing with https://www.forgebeartanks.com/ if you are looking for a vendor across the pond.

If you are ever tempted to look on eBay, avoid "Winton88k" and "wargamer144" they are both Tankzone. They may have others I haven't heard of.

So I was looking far a torro jagdtiger from tank zone as they seem to be reasonably priced.. don't really want to pay import duties from the EU which is the only other place I've seen advertising the jagdtiger but at a lot higher price....I'm in a quandary now as to what to do

I would send forgebear a PM, to see if he can still help, Dave and Julie are sometimes very helpful at acquiring items they don't appear to stock. They've helped me out in the past.
And as they say, unless you ask, you'll never know ;)

Are tankzone even still going ?
If you do decide to get a jagdtiger from the EU check that the seller takes the VAT off
