Tamiya Finespec 2 channel receiver

Hi all,
Should really post this on RCU but I am not active there. I have been collecting Tamiya 1/10 and 1/12 scale RC cars and they all use the pistol style FineSpec 2 channel controller and receiver. However, for the life of me I cannot find the receiver to buy separately and only comes in a set ! I don't need a controller for every car I have so would really like to just get the receivers.
I did notice that the 2 channel Futaba receiver looks identical to the Tamiya brand ones, and I know that the Tamiya Brand Attack 4 radio for tanks are essentially Futabas. Does anyone know if the Futaba 2 channel receivers are compatible with the Tamiya FineSpec 2 channel radios ?
They are still bloody hell expensive but at least I can get them separately.........

It is the set that must be compatible Tamiya MFC or DMD,
