1/16 URAL AND TRAILER.

This is my URAL, all the electrics inside the command unit-which is very handy. Lighting unit in there as well as the battery.
I added a couple of figures for the cab, rear lights added and decals also, a all metal towing eye was added. I also meshed the grill, inside and added a cooling fan. The rear leaf-spring suspension on the rear was replaced with small shocks.
I also made a trailer from WPL parts after I knocked the US truck, that was in bits, on the floor and stood on it
So, the back was okay as was the rails so cut down the rails, angled them added a small metal spring clip. Added the rear lights and took the wiring to a car waterproof connector placed in the middle of the a-frame, then a simple JST connector, with enough length so that it will move freely when turning.
Inside the truck back I took a lead from the lighting unit to a female JST connector that runs underneath, all works well. I originally used magleads to connect the trailer to the truck, thinking here was that if it did get snagged it would just pull away without damaging the wiring-it worked in principle but, the cables detached too easily on a turn-killing the trailer lights.
Anyway, I have waffled enough.
