Thanks Guys, i will share some more tech details later.

The motor however was recommended to me by Tomleys RC Garage.
It is a Surpass 3900kv Brushless motor & 60A esc setup. It is only running off a 2400 Hacker 3S lipo meant for a lightweight RC Glider with only 45% charge. It is blooming crazy fast for a heavy truck.

The suspension & steering work amazingly well, but those Tamiya Truck tyres really do struggle with grip haha even though there are 8 tyres to transmit power.
Not bad since you guys got me interested in 3D printing and the whole thing is just PLA haha. Only ting i broke when i took it off road later was the exposed plastic servo arm. I was worried about the big PLA wheels i printed for the tyres, but they held up perfectly and they only 30% infill. I think it makes them more flexible to take shocks.

I am building this on commision for a friend and he is super happy with it. Hopefully finish in next 2-3 weeks for all the custom detail touches, then over to my wife for paint.

Yes i know its a Rat Truck not a Military vehicle, however i like this soo much i am building another in 8x8 and with a Oshkosh body and will tailor it towards a 1/10 crawler and carrier. Not donuts....... ok not alot of donuts haha. The suspension system would work a treat on that.

Wayne, they are HG axles ;)

This is my new inspiration

So accidentally printed some 50cal MG's for the roof or sides of the Actro Rat :)

Then made some huge fuel tanks so the batteries have a home, actually they big enough to house 4x 3s hacker 2400 lipos! Oh dear, this giving me BAD ideas haha

I also have re-geared the final drive as, well it was still a bit slow. Not soo much anymore! LOL
It still lights all 8 drive tyres if you go from half to full throttle!

Another view of the pods and supports

May have scaled up a TIGER v12 engine for this build!

I have fitted some lights aswell

The yellow is disappearing due to request from the client, so maybe some rusty red panels or something!

The truck is soo close to us being able to do some cool video action with it and help promote doing mad things with RC.
This truck has been soo successful in build and testing we are going to use the suspension and subframe setups to build a BIG 1/10 8x8 Trials truck with 4 steering axles and dual motor and dual gearbox setup. Watch this space!

A video just to show how the new truck operates for it's new owner

Then off camera last night we went to take a high speed video!
The truck hit a bump as i was knocking it into a high speed donut and the gearbox smashed to pieces!
On taking it apart i found that 2 gears had shredded teeth and found this was due to a loose internal shaft that had obviously caused a miss-mesh which led to tooth shear.

New gearbox on order
