Anyone hopelessly consumed by the hobby, if not conventional 'good' taste, might consider having one of these at home:

- WW2 Railway Gun -but a lamp in disguise..
Someone has also taken the trouble to assemble this collection of WW2 Dioramas on Pinterest. There are some real eye-popping ideas here...

But I liked this one, and I dubbed the figure 'Hapless Helmut':

There are some very skilled modellers out there..

Here's an immersive website showing how to make a richly detailed, illuminated, tank battlefield diorama. Do check it out.

If you have a spare T34 hulk, and would like to make it appear as if it's just received a fatal hit from an 88, then this is how to do it:

- T34 explosion with cotton and hidden lamp

and the finished diorama:

Thanks for that, HB! I was away from the Forum for most of Spring and Summer 2018, and missed that. I guess, instead of having ones clanking pals sitting forlorn on shelves when not battling, some could use their 'leisure time', or repair time posing in table-top tableaux. Given room, a spare table top, and the permission of any other interested parties.... (Those with rolling pins, for example

)
