Hey Guys,

After much aggravation I have finally got my ELMOD connected and working within my King Tiger.

I am now having issues connecting the board to the PC Windows ELMOD app.

I connect everything as described in the manual but keep getting the following message displayed when I open the app “Disconnected - Searching for signal”

Can anyone please shed some light on what I am doing wrong or need to do?

Yes I downloaded the latest version yesterday.
What I don’t seem to understand is that I have connected to it already but now it won’t connect again.

I’m now at a loss as to what’s going on or how to proceed as my tank is now running like crap and I can’t adjust the settings to rectify it.

I vaguely remember that it also asked for some drivers to install as part of the package though. I'm still on Win7. I got it to work and it still does. Is your Win more recent?
There is a version for 32bits and 64bits. I'm sure you have the correct one.
I'm asking all this because in my experience when it comes to computers people go wrong in most mundane things.

They now have a version released on 12 January 2019. It contains the latest firmware for the board.

Hi RenoirLV,

Yes it also installed the drivers as part of the process, I’m running 64Bit Windows.
As I said it has connected once but since then it just won’t recognise the board or open any of the links to enable fine tuning and setup.

Stupid question: Do you power your board? I mean, connected with a battery.

Perhaps it worked from one usb port and now you try a different one?

Hey guys,

In response to both questions, yes I power up the board as instructed and I have only used the same USB port to connect board - computer.

Do you have figured this out?
Do you have tried a different computer, or bluetooth?
