T-35A Soviet Heavy Tank

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

It has enormous tear strength, is light, can be painted as necessary using polycarbonate paints etc. It remains flexible so probably no good for manhandling (pick up by tracks) but hard to damage. It's what all those crazy fast RC race cars use so it's well tested!
This material has its shortcomings, but in principle somewhere on the model it is possible to use it.

Thank you very much! The project is very big, so sometimes I switch to smaller tanks to rest!

Ilgar, have you made any provision for access to the tank's insides or for removal of the deck lids? I am thinking of adding some mounting tabs with threaded brass inserts to screw down the main lids for access to replace battery and to get to the electronics. I would also probably need to access the transmission to replace broken gears as they occur. I've had to replace several on my IS-1 gearboxes over time.

All my tanks have removable covers. In addition to the deck, the cooler is also removed on the ?-35. Access to the transmission is simple.

ilgar, may I ask what tracks you used? They look like Heng Long or Mato KV-1 tracks. I couldn't find that out elsewhere. And HL gearboxes? Thank you. My friend and I (I'm a modeller, he's a 3D printer) are thinking of starting this project.
