Anyone know when the promised Shermans are going to hit our shores? I am tempted to buy a scrap Tamiya and modify it to suit my needs...but if I wait I will probably get everything I need in one box for less money?

Buy a scrap tamiya Rob. Buy it now. Because the minute you do, they will probably release the Sherman !!!

The news on these Shermans seems to have dried up. I was tempted to get a Tamiya, but I thought i'd hold out for the cast hull and VVSS suspension.

Cheers,
Rik

What Shermans are these? I may be in the market for a new tank next month.

There are a load of Sherman variants about to hit our shores, I think it is Mato that have them in the pipeline. If there is a VVSS version in there then I have a feeling it will sell rather well?

The Mato Sherman is VVSS and they're aiming at HL/Mattoro Prices -

This is a prototype of the first release but they have 16 varients in the pipeline. Also they're designing an Tam compatiable IR version.
