Very, very nice. I didn't know the Germans used T34s in the villiers bocage action !!

During the Normandy break out, the British 7th Armoured column, was pulverized by Michael Wittmann and his Tiger, at a village in Normandy, Villiers Bocage. The Bocage was the term/meaning the hedgerows/ undergrowth. Yeh, ive seen a couple of pictures including a captured sherman ARV. Crafty buggers wernt they!

were the allies as eager to use captured equipment in the field or did we just send them back for evaluation?
