Got one for ya.....

Years ago I had purchased a remote control tank from a company called Chicago Model International. 20years ago to be exact. It is a neat little model and fast. Not the greatest detail that's for sure but not to bad. You can tell by the pictures how basic it is. I didn't really spend much time decorating it or anything else. I knew I was gonna be to hard on the dang thing.
So if anyone knows about these I would love to hear about that!

Now, that's a curiosity. I see it was made in Taiwan. Until the Chinese tsunami of products swept all before it, Taiwan was the home for computer products (Motherboards etc..) and general electronics; but I was unaware of the models angle. ...
Is CMI still doing 'tank' business?

I don't believe that they are. I looked all over a few years ago and only came up with some sort of import company. And yes. Since China has mugged everyone for manufacturing anything it's pretty tough for others to keep up.

Wow. Forgot about that one. I had one. I remember modifying it so that the antenna split in two and came out the turret antenna mounts. It was very fast. Had a hoot driving it around on Ft. Myer.

Well I don't know about the toy bit. It cost to much to be a toy . When I looked at RC tanks 20 years ago it was very limited. And most did not have alot of function unless you gave up your left arm . Just my recollection.

Now this. This is a toy. 29.99 at Walmart ten years ago. Bought like you see it. As you ca see the roadwheels on one side snapped off. Lol.. It was made by new toys millennium out of China. So I just figured it was a throw away but I kept it any way. I cannot remember the scale but it somewhere around 1/16. ? Maybe?
This is the toy.

That's actually quite good for a "toy." Out of curiosity, what's the overall length of the hull at its longest points if you don't mind measuring please
Some static toys are mostly 18th scale.
