Hallo everyone, how r u today ? Can anybody tell me if this IR turret has inside these servo recoil and barrel elevation modules or.....what recoil and elevation modules has in it ? Thank u.

Ok i think its the model Asiatam recoil-elevation unit .Can i tranform this turret with these servo metal modules ?I think they are better. I need to be sure i will search again or if anybody else can send me a photo of the inside of this metal leopard2a6 IR turret. Anyway thank u very much sir .

This Taigen Leopard 2A6 is available in BB and IR configurations, but how easy it would be to gut one turret type interior- BB, say- and replace it with the IR version- is a moot point. Generally, swaps of this kind are fairly routine, however, as the base turret castings are identical.

The turret pic you posted there actually contains the IR version, and is ready to fit, apparently.
T34 rotation and elevation units would be exceedingly difficult to fit, and use, in this context. Indeed, such a transplant would probably require a tap of Gandalf's staff to make it happen

Thank u sir. This time i m thinking to use something else for first time and i dont know if its easy to use these modules as photo. I m going to use the metal IR turret Leopard2A6 and with IBU2FO .....what u suggest me? Are these modules very nice cool ?

If you plan to use it for IR battles you should know there's an issue with the IBU and momentum. As I understand it, the new version of the IBU has a built in momentum (inertia?) feature that can NOT be disabled, and I hear this makes things very difficult when used in an IR battle. I hope they sort it out soon as I plan to use this board again and i don't use momentum at all. Ever. For anything. I believe the IBUs with the built in feature are blue, where the older IBU boards were green. I'm not positive if it affects the IBU2FO, but I would advise that you check it out. Little surprises like that can be rather nasty, eh?
