Ludwig SdKfz 251/22 Ausf. D Pakwagen

Here's my Ludwig Pakwagen build for those that are interested. Goal is to make it a complete IR fighting vehicle for indoor use by using a TK37SP or TK24SP and wiring my own hidden battle unit in it.

pos1: Basis Polysterol Bausatz Für Wanne und Aufbau ohne Fahrwerk und Turm (Complete hull w/o running gear etc)
pos2: Vorderachsen Bausatz (Front axles)
pos3: Reifen und Felgensatz (3D printed Wheels and tires (Real rubber) for front axle)
pos4: Laufrollensatz Kunststoff 14 Laufrollen mit Kugellager (3D printed running wheels w/ ballbearings)
pos5: Metall Kette (Asiatam 251 tracks w/ real rubber pads)
pos6: Antriebsradsatz (3D printed sprockets)
pos12: Tarn Rücklicht (Metal rear light)
pos13: 2x Sichtluken (Metal vision slots)
pos16: Lampen satz (Metal headlights w/ plastic glass)
pos18: Getriebe Satz sdkfz251 (Gearbox w/ ball bearings and reduction motors)
pos19: Bundbuchsen satz (Copper bearings for running wheels)
pos20: Schwingarmsatz mit achsen (Metal suspension arms w/ axles)

Could you possibly measure one of the tracks for me? I'd like to have a crack at doing a 3D printed version with the Tamiya educational plastic tracksets if I could get roughly the right length from the various different peices...

Get his metal front suspension the plastic one will break. I had to rebuild mine several times.

This is exactly what I would have built with the PaK40 I’m using in my bunker.

You mean entire track length needed for one side or individual track link dimensions?

I will see how it performs. Mine will only run indoors on a flat surface, so it might hold....

Total length of track for one side: 570mm

This might still be a bit to long, as I haven't finalized the suspension and drive train yet...
