Turnigy 9X binding issue

I'm hoping someone can help me. I've bound one of my iA6 receivers but the other I keep getting a slow pulsing light.
I've also got a Spektrum DX6i that I'm having the same problem with, so I guess there's something I'm doing wrong.
It's just odd that one bound straightaway. Haven't found any answers on you tube or anything. I've been trying all afternoon
