Spellbinding
To get that level of realism from position-able figures and add on bits is just mindblowing.

Hi, thank you,
Here is an extra set of close ups for those who would like to ride on a Walker Bulldog, wear South Vietnamese tiger stripes, M-16 in hand and looking for VCs and the NVA.
It is by looking at close ups like these that i can see some finetuning that can be easily done.
Those 1/18 Ultimate Soldier Vietnam tanker helmets are the only one available around this scale. They are quite good.
I could not resist creating a South Vietnamese Rambo for my M-41. And that superbly designed Verlinden M-60 is just perfect for him.
In this shot, you can see why I like the Tamiya M2 with Aber upgrade set.
Good hunting !
Regards, Louis

Hi,
Well, this is it, the model is finished. I would like to thank everyone for your encouragements throughout the build. It went smoothly, everything pretty much worked as planned despite obvious risks of disasters at every steps. It looks good. I hope it will help future modellers with their M41 build and that they will push it further.
I wanted to rework the head lights but at this stage, I was impacting surrounding elements and risking major damage, it is basically too late for it. I did polish the lens so that they look better. A builder can definitely improve this transformation, such as putting nice hinges on the storage bins, nice handles, thinner road wheels, better head lights, better electronics and gearbox, to name a few. Please do not be shy to do the same mods, make them better and show your build to us.
It is a fascinating experience and I highly recommend it. Now I have an M41 that I truly like. I am moving on to another crazy project to be announced soon.
Here are final indoor pictures of the model, in a jungle sunset like setup. I am planning to take the model outside for a clearer photoshoot as soon as the sun shows up and before the snow falls.
Regards, Louis

Outstanding work! I love those last 2 pictures, put a little bit of fuzz on them in Photoshop and you'd be fooling folks into thinking they were real.
