I am quite certain that this is already a known fact here but I thought I say so anyway.

In preparation for (not soon though) several Sherman builds I have in the planning stages including the Dragon 1/6 M4. I purchased the book "Son of Sherman Vol 1", WOW what an exceptional publication!

Not many questions on the Sherman left unanswered and many, many exceptional photos and the drawing are great. It's not cheap but IMO worth every $.

Yes, very good book. The fun part with this book is to determine which hull, turret version and maker the 1/6 Dragon kit is closest to. Then the work is about reworking or replacing everything on it... Knowing you Barry from your Abrams build, I think you should plan writing a book on the work you will do on your new baby.

Yes, considered the bible of Sherman reference books. I use mine all the time. you can find them a lot cheaper than $118 pounds!!!

Check ebay always. There usually are one or 2 kicking around. for example:

I scored mine on Amazon but got the last one for $59 + shipping. It was too good a deal to pass and I had read here that it was the Grail of printed Sherman knowledge.
