Although I've been a tank fan for more years than I care to remember, I have only recently got into the RC side of things.

Many years of going to Bovington, from the age of around 12, cemented that love for armour! I've even run around the tank training grounds the two years the course was opened up, it was kind of surreal doing 28 miles round that course on foot knowing that its usual occupants are tanks!

I currently have Taigen full metal Panzer IV & Panther G, along with an older 27Mhz Tiger1 which will be a test bed for learning mod's and painting.

My partner Roni has also got the RC bug, and has her own Taigen metal King Tiger with Porsche turret. This one we are swapping to IR from BB which we never use, so at least we can battle!

Our tank training grounds are a playing field behind our house, and next to it a heavily wooded area with lots of hills and mounds, perfect playground!

Being a noob, I will have plenty of questions to ask, but of course will do a lot of my own reading first.

Paul

Oh dont worry, once things get going, we will post a lot! How many tank action pics before I get blocked :O :O

I'm also thinking of pics as we modify each one, or in the case of the Grey Tiger 1, its getting a full respray.. now that should be good for a laugh or two as its many years since I weilded an airbrush in anger
