News coming from the latest version of the IL2 Sturmovik franchise, is an off-shoot WW2 tank simulation.

For those not familiar with it, IL2 Sturmovik is a long-running WW2 flight sim, capable of immersive skinning and mission building. The latest versions included player-driveable tanks, and has now gone full swing into a tank sim. To save me typing here is a screenshot of their blurb on the planned release. IL2 is such a good flight sim, the tank version should be epic.

Sign me up. There is a surprising lack of decent tank sims out there and if this is anywhere close to the IL2 games it will be a cracker.

If this is half as good as the flight il2 it will be awesome! Especially multiplayer.
