If I remember rightly you need to pop the centre off and there is a screw underneath. When you fit the metal ones I had real dramas, ended up dremmening down the axle and having to find a screw that fitted.

Welcome to the forum Andrew. You might get a few more comments if you posted this in the general section.
If the jagd idlers are anything like the pzIII . Then they are moulded in two halves and glued together. That means that they would have to be carefully split in two with a sharp blade revealing a cross head screw. I might be tempted to leave them at the moment and add all your other upgrades. Until you get a definitive answer.

Nick.

Methinks that is a good idea Nick, certainly no detachable cap as it appears to be one moulding on the outer idler/hub. Maybe wait 'til I strip the whole thing down. Might be good idea to bring into work and we can both destroy it together ( Joke ) Andrew

Haha yeah....have you taken the tracks off yet. If not that would reveal what I mean by moulded in two halves.

The hub cover is detachable, it just takes a lot of detaching.

Hi Andrew First thing welcome to the forum and happy tanking .here is a photo of the idler removed found it on panzerketten here. http://www.rc-panzerketten-forum.com/wbb2/thread.php?threadid=21671&threadview=0&hilight=&hilightuser=0&page=2
It shows the idler in one peice so the hub must come off to remove (havnt done this myself ) Have sent Nick the same info .
