The tank below is offered by LEGENDS HOBBIES and I will be the proud owner of this kit due to ship on July,22th.I am very glad to see this new board and hope others may decide to build in this scale.Thier are some very expensive kits out their,in many different materials but for me and my skill level and budget 680.00 delivered this is the kit for me.It is a rolling chassis with no electronics or gear drive. It can be made r/c like anything else but will reqiure some exspence and effort.Because Matt has added this board I am very confident that others will post and this build will be easier for me because of the exchange of idea's this forum is known for.SAX

Just out of interest, what do you estimate the final build cost will be, including buying the basic kit?

Here is the phone number to LEGENDS HOBBY 626-810-8962 ASK FOR ROLANDO,HE can provide kit cost and shipping cost.Total cost for me was 680.00 delivered. They have a limited stock as these kits are a production run of 500.We spoke today and they had some kits in stock. As to final cost I have no idea,my 1/16 scale has cost more than 680.00 at this piont, you know how it works their is always something else to add or improve. For me it was selling one of three motorcycles,to justify spending money on tanks. My wife like everybodies just does not see the cost being worth it.Just like their is no point to having three street bikes, you can only ride one at a time and it took 25 years to collect all three.Just in the drive and sound system I'm looking at 800.00-1000.00 u.s. and a lot of side work to earn the money.SAX

My TIGER arrived today from California severely damaged in shipping, both exhaust guards broken, one completely shattered, exhaust uprights broken off back plate, driver hatch hinge broken, front drivers side drive sprocket shattered, seems like shipping box was dropped then something else was dropped on top of shipping box.The intire chassis was sandwitched in molded foam so it was well protected against normal handling, have filed claim and adjuster will meet with me on Monday, after that meeting I will post pictures of the Tiger.I am very disappointed that being said I cannot remove tank from box until Monday. It can be repaired hopefully, but until I can unpack it all I really don't know.I will post pictures of the damaged parts so hopefully with the forum members help I can repair my tiger1/6.

So sorry to hear that bad news as I know you have been waiting a while to get your hands on that kit. That was allways one of my big fears when I had an order on the way as to what shape it would arrive in.I did get a few items that arrived busted up,but over-all was pretty lucky.I hope the shipping company will make it right for you. Also if I have read these posts right there is not anymore to replace it with--??? So lets hope when you can take it out of the box that it will still be repairable and mabe you can still be able to get the broken parts replaced from the mfg.Sounds like the drive sprocket may be one of the toughest parts to deal with.I hope it all works out well for you in the end---Realy was looking forward to your build on this big guy----
Best of luck to you here--
Larry
