I understand it is how it’s supposed to happen. Just attach the late roadwheel set.

Welcome. Do you have the torsion bar suspension?

Henglong suspension arms require a threaded axle. Not sure if the late roadwheels come with such. Need to find out. I haven’t seen a late set in my hands.

The One piece Starting Handle was mounted on the lower right hand side of the rear plate on the early,
The Two Piece Starting Handle of the Late is mounted beside the Radio Aerial on the Top of the Hull. Various parts on the rear plate were altered from the early to the late, it is worth studying some photographs of the rear plate of an early and a late for comparison.
The Tool box under the Air Cleaners was removed from the late as of course were the air cleaners,
The Exhaust Shrouds were removed from the Late as well just leaving a support for the Vertical Exhaust Pipe.

I can’t recommend enough the Taigen chassis. It’s worlds better than Henglong.

I find the biggest problem there is the suspension arms. They move all directions not just up and down. It’s impossible to have the roadwheels clear from each other. Pretty annoying.

Son of a gun-ner wrote:Yes, they are crap. Was thinking of getting metal ones.
Metal arms are an improvement but not a solution. I have a late henglong tiger with Mato metal arms and mato metal roadwheels, those without bearings. It’s not a good sight.

It looks alright. But not very precise when on the move.
