It's not quite finished as I need a cupola that I have on order a 128 gun from modelbau and the vampire night fighting gear and pepperpot muzzle break from shapeway

Hi John, call me ocd if you like, but I’d be stripping everything off that hull, including the gun surround & sanding that filler off flat.
Or you could just paint it red & white and put a tree on it, lol

Will you be weathering and chipping the paint to tone it down a bit?

Big fan of the subject matter, please don't take this the wrong way, as others have noted a very good sanding would really help out.

After weathering just need some parts to finish it
Haven't done the barrel as I'm going to be changing it

This is looking really good so far. But I hope it won't hunt you later, to have omitted the sanding step. I know, that is tedious work. Have that as well right now. You might as well consider rearranging the foliage. At the moment it looks like a wig :P you could cover the area below the gun with logs or brqnches/bushes and add some bundles of high grass on the sides. I would assume that to look much more natural that way.

Like I said its not finished so I might give it a new camp when/if I do I'll give it a redo

Reworking it and dug a small sander and gave it a sand down just need to get more of the skeleton bone paint

Great choice. I am sure you won't regret it. The paint job and weathering looks superb now. I don't know how much is due to the sanding, but you should try carefully to retain some of it. :thumbup:

Well done John, it looks a gazillion times better. You definitely won’t regret the extra effort!!
I like using softer fillers to make life easier.
