The trick with styrene isn't to cut it. It's scoring it that does the line, when it's halfway through it will snap cleanly, then a light sanding to square off the break.
There is a proper tool for this but they are difficult to get hold of.

Thanks Alwyn & biertje, on my printer it will print the whole thing in a tad over 3 days, lol
I've cut it into 4 smaller manageable chunks, printing will commence as soon as I get back from a beach somewhere
Cheers

Alwyn It's no problem getting these fils for you.
Starting up my pc takes more time than getting the file
You just keep up the good work
I always try to print the turrets as one part an most times it works.
Also started on printing full sherman hull's, but you have to cut them in to 4 parts. But it will still take 2 day's
Greetings tim

Hi Tim, my problem with long prints is called Mrs Midlife.. She won’t allow anything over 18 hours & that’s if I’m a good boy lol

We now have suspension
All I need now is to print 24 wheels, 24 tyres, 12 spindles, 12 spacers, and 12 wheel caps......
and now is the time my hitherto totally and absolutely reliable printer decides to play up by getting filament jams in the nozzle!
Oh well lifes little upsets and all that!

This is going to kill me being away from my printer for a week, nicely done Alwyn.
Are you using 50mm spring length?
