Upgraded my D7

Post by Woz »

Upgraded resin printer to V1.5 spec and decided to see what I could do-

2mm bolts @35 microns.

The layers look like the thread so I'm well pleased.

Now I'm trying 1mm bolts

1mm bolts. Also testing how close together I can print things without them merging

And when you say 2mm and 1mm bolts, are you talking thread size how bolts are correctly sized, or how some people refer to the spanner size?
Spanner size as the threads are just the supports (though I can change the support size).

I want to see how small I can go before I lose the hex detail.

It started because I had some plastic bolt heads on my Chally 2 that got knocked off, as they're just glued on. So I wanted to see if I can make my own which can be pinned into place.

Re Shapeways- these are too small for SW.
