HL King Tiger main gun .

Does anyone know Is it correct that the barrel length on the HL King Tiger is short compared it the prototype because of the HL packaging?
Edit: think this may be incorrect as I have seen the packaging of the HL KT is different It being in a rather long box,so as the littl old lady on Saturday night live used to say......Never Mind!!
