Tamiya Tiger 1 turret rotation

Having thought that Tamiya is the king of rc tanks I am less than impressed with some elements.
Immediately fixing a lot of issues but the turret rotation needs serious work.
Some seem to mod a leopard ring, which seems a lot of work.
Are there any other options for a simple fix to make it run smooth and quieter?
Also where can I get an 18 wire slip ring like the Mato use?

Sorry to heard you are in dissapointed. You are not the only one:

Whats the problem with your rotation? Just too noisy? Maybe you can put some grease on it. If it jams, I had success with a dab of glue in the turret clutch.

Our Taigen Tiger and the Torro King Tiger both have superior movement of the turret compared.
If no other suggestions I will strengthen the upper hull with Plasicard or Aluminium sheet and see what else I need to do after

As Rad mentioned, gluing or replacing the slipper clutch might solve your issues. I have a Tamiya rotation unit in my Jumbo and had some issues with it sticking in places until I glued the slipper clutch to make it a solid gear. It doesn't miss a beat now.
