Following the old thread on road lights mods.
So anyone going to post a couple of pictures of the road lights filed down with the covers fitted?
Really like to see your handiwork.

I use a hole punch that I borrow from the wife. She got it for her jewelry hobby and doesn't mind to share. I punch the discs out of sheet copper, then cut the slit in them with a thin cut off wheel. A bit of clean up with a jewelers file and Bob's your Uncle!

I glue them on with a craft style white glue that dries flexible, kind of like RTV.

Good afternoon,
I use the Schumo, Tamiya or the more widely available MATO black light covers for German armor. It is nice to know that companies like Torro\Taigen are now putting the covers on their higher end versions after years of HL style Bug Eye leds. For American armor, the Tamiya headlight rings and clear lenses work incredibly well for headlights and spots.

Those came with the decal set I picked up for the Pz III. I also got a set of these...

There's 24 of the palm tree markings on the sheet. Dragon hobbies is located in the states and ship pretty fast. Just keep in mind that the Peddinghaus decals are printed on one continuous sheet. You'll have to trim them close to the printing to avoid an excess of carrier film.
