I’ve just taken the idlers off a HL pz IV, the only way I found to remove them was to split the wheel with a screwdriver to access the head of the screw. Looks like they screw on the inner half of the idler then glue the outer half over the top..
Cheers

Thanks Wayne, that makes sense ,Looking at it thought the screw was in awfully deep,
As of right now I’m waiting on the sellers reply to see if he will offer a replacement before delving into this little guy. In the meantime I need to find a plug conversion for the charger.
Hmmmm’ guys how does one go about deleting this duplicate post? This is twice now I’ve accidentally hit the submit button..doesn’t happen at other sites I post to!
Maybe the Mod can delete one of them.
Thx.

All of mine that I've removed have been cross point (phillips) screws. I use a jewelers screwdriver and usually have to use pliers on the shaft to get it to turn. It's a really course thread, so It's pretty hard to turn. Press in pretty hard with the screwdriver to avoid having the screw strip. If you can find a screwdriver with a small shaft, and larger handle, it'll make it easier to remove the wheel.

Hope this helps,

Bill
