Is that the finished paintjob for the IS2? Its a little underwhelming.

Good afternoon,
According to the two gentlemen in the video, the Taigen version will come with two paint jobs. One will be the 1945 Berlin all green with the usual white striping and one will be a Winter pattern, very similar to what they did with their T-34. HL will probably offer theirs in that upper version green plastic with sticker decals at a lower price point.
regards,
Painless

I don't think so, it looks like they've just photoshopped the bare plastic/metal to be a single colour.

Mwah.

Never mind the paintjob. Most of us will repaint the IS-2 anyways. I’m just glad it’s about to released.

As a total Heng Long, Torro/Taigen convert, I may be biased, but that IS-2 looks superb  And knowing Heng Long/Torro, you will be paying less than half the price of the Tamiya...

As a former Tamiya owner (had 4 - 5 tanks at one time) the only thing I could see that Tamiya could boast over was the sound systems, but now I reckon they`ve lost that advantage as well

Would I swap any of my Heng Long, Torro/Taigens now for a Tamiya - honest answer would be no ;D

And believe me, when I had my Tamiya`s I was the biggest Heng Long disser out there @) @)

I really do think Tamiya have lost the R/C tank monopoly they once had :/

On the plus side, we have more choice now than when I started out in this hobby

I want the Leo to backdate it to a 2A4. I like the slab turret look.
