RC Tank Warfare community hobby forum

I am Jay from Portsmouth in Darkest Hampshire in the UK. Been into RC tanks since the cheap Heng Longs came out - I am a member of the Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team and one of the shows we do involves several 1/16 tanks, some landing craft, a French village and numerous pyro charges.
Collection of Heng Long stuff: a much abused Sherman with a Clark TK22 board, a Jagdpanther rather tastefully painted by a club mate, a box of bits that will hopefully become a Stug IV and a PzIV recovery.
Plus the current project of a Heng Long Tiger 1 with additional detailing parts from the Hobby Boss Tiger 1 kit. Well that is if I can work out the connections as it is one of the version 5.3 boards units so I have an extra connector from the switch in the turret !

And those LCM's are over 35 years old! The club made several and eventually one got into the hands of a kit maker (think it was Deans Marine) and so most that you can buy are based on the ones you see in that shot

Hi Welcome to the forum, I have seen displays done by Portsmouth model boat on youtube, some of them are spectacular .spent many a good night out in Portsmouth (used to be stationed at RAF Thorney Island 73-76)
